What are five things that most people don't know about you?
Submitted by mika.
- i sleep upside down. in other words, my head is not where the headboard is... my feet is there.
- deathly afraid of the dark. i still sleep with the lights on and if i have to be in the dark, i hug the closest thing to me as if my life depended on it.
- i am not a girly girl. sometimes, when i dress up, i look myself in the mirror, and i ask myself, "is this really me?" id rather be comfortable and dress in sweats and a tank.
- i still talk to the guy who i had my first little crush for. we were both 3 when we first met (o:
- i like walking around the park, and having nice conversations with friends. i used to do that at immac, when i would finish with my homework early and i had time to spare. i'd walk around with krystle diane, and we`d just talk. i wish i had the time and the accessibility to do that
What are five things you take for granted?
Submitted by meowkitty.
one - my parents. i have the best parents. most supportive parents. the most loving parents. the most protective parents. .... like ever. sure they're strict. sure, they're overbearing and wont let me have a car til im 20, but if you see it through their eyes, they are only doing it for me. they give me everything i ask for (which is yes, i know ... kinda spoiled) but its because they want me happy, and i can only be thankful, and not take them for granted, which is what i sadly do sometimes
two - the fact that i went to a private school for most of my life. i mean, i never really realized how much my parents sacrificed til i realized that tuition at immac doesnt come cheap. i wanted to go there, and even though it wasnt "practical" they knew it would be worth it. and it was but i forget, that it was a PRIVILEGE for me to be an immac student, and that a lot of girls would kill to be in my shoes. i just gotta be more thankful. that i went there, and such. imagine, ... if i went to like eagle rock high. .... *weird shudder*
three - i have a roof over my head at all times. i'm not homeless. i live in an average neighborhood within a safe suburb of la. i could just be one of those people who live on the other side of LA, who struggle to find warm water and something to eat.
four - i basically have everything that i need to live a comfortable life .... i forget that not many people have a cell phone, or some people dont have warm clothes for their backs. blaaahh how sad ):
five - my sister. hah. i use her too much. JUST KIDDING (: not really. i just dont see her often, and that makes me alittle sad ):
so that is why im going to start volunteering once im done with summer school. seriously, i like volunteering. i always feel good when im done, and tha ti know i did something ot make someone smile, even when its someone i dont know
What set you apart from the rest of the kids at school?
Submitted by jks.
seeing how this question is set in the past tense, i shall answer according to the past. at school, i was pretty loud. out of my batch of friends, i was pretty loud. there are multiple times when people tell me, "anna, i heard you from across the hall" or "i heard your yelling my name from across the quad." mmm yah, i am a loud person. then again, meet my cousin, elaine, and then compare me to her ... and you will see where it comes from (:
i wasnt really a prissy girl. i didnt really dress up, seeing that i went to an all girl school, i found no real reason to impress anyone. actually, i dont even really dress up in college.. no point in impressing anyone, and anyone who was really my friend, would still love me the same. (: i could go to school with unkempt hair, and look like the preppiest girl ever. which rbings me to my second point -- i always wore a black skirt, polo, and my ASB sweater. yah, the one embroidered with "Anna Ibarra, ASB Treasurer." i loved my uniform. yah, so i wore it without breaking the rules, and basically being the model uniform wearer. most ladies wore their uniform, without following the rules. so i guess, i was unique in that respect.
i guess you can say that i was the nerd / total dork, in the volleyball team. again, out of my group of friends, i was the only one who played sports. i was far from the "jock." i wore glasses during my first three years. hehe. yah, there are stories about that (:

Submitted by Hops.
i'd like to go to disneyland everytime i am stressed out. you know, the happiest place on earth really isnt far from the truth. realitistically speaking, i just go to anyone of my friends, and have them tell some lame joke and it makes me laugh. it doesnt take a lot for me to find something amusing, so it's all good. it's all good.

so. i have a sister, who is only a year younger than me. her name is andrea, and she and i are partners in crime. well one story that always sticks to the both of us, was the day i tossed her from my porch. well not literally tossing her, but i actually, dumped her. yeah. let me explain. she told me to push her off the porch, and i did. little did i know that there were thorn bushes waiting to capture her. the next thing i remember is my mom trying to wash my sister (who was crying her eyes) and asking me "what were you thinking?"
i just shrugged my shoulder.
